So yeah, here's something I don't exactly understand. It seems that, no matter what armor you're wearing, whether it's a white T-shirt or full Magma armor, every player seems to be barehanded. Have real knights entered the battle barehanded? As far as I can tell, no. Real archers and cowboys? Sometimes. Mages (a completely mythological class)? Gloves only appeared on mages when designers felt the need to add them.
Either way, considering the fact that armors, for some reason, don't utilize gloves whatsoever, I figured gloves would work as a thing to use.
Now, I know what you're thinking, this is a bad idea. Well, gloves have always been optional, and in the game, helmets are optional as well. Because of that, I'm thinking gloves should be an optional piece of armor. That or a part of certain already-made armors, that would be nice.
If gloves were a separate piece of equipment, they'd be about as strong as shoes since they're both equally small. However, that would mean that they also fill up one additional item slot (unless armor slots become a thing), plus gloves may require hands to have actual fingers depending on the current line of thinking. That and drops may need to be reworked to include gloves.
So yeah, there's that. Thoughts?
