We use science every day. In fact, as you're reading this, you're using your eyes to reflect an image upside-down into your lens and portrayed into your retina and back into your brain, creating an image. This is a known fact, because of science. You can also see a bright red color (or a slightly greener color, or another color, depending on if you're colorblind or not.) because of cones and rods figuring out a specific part of the light spectrum, finding the proton, and figuring out the color that is reflected and not as absorbed. This is also a known fact due to science.
What I'm trying to say is that science is what proves things. Mathematics says "oh look, we can do this" without proving anything. We can count past infinity to something called epsilon nought, but this is a mathematical theory, because we can't prove that it actually exists. Science has theories, but they aren't those kinds of theories. They are things that have been thoroughly tested and proven to be extremely accurate, but a theory cannot become a law due to the nature of the universe, blah blah blah.
Trust me, I could go on for a while with this, but your statement is false.
